At Snag Leather, we are committed to providing a clear, fair, and straightforward return and refund process. We make premium leather jackets designed to last decades — and if something isn't right, we will make it right. Please review this policy before placing an order.
Return Window
Customers may request a return within 18 days of receiving their order. Return requests submitted after this period may not be approved.
Eligibility for Returns
To qualify for a return, items must meet all of the following conditions:
- Item must be unused, unworn, and in original condition
- Original tags, labels, and packaging must be fully intact
- Item must not show any signs of wear, washing, alteration, or damage
- Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) is required with every return request
Snag Leather reserves the right to decline returns that do not meet these eligibility conditions. Our team will inspect every returned item upon receipt.
How to Initiate a Return
To request a return, please contact our support team during business hours and provide the following:

Provide Your Order Details
Include your order number, the reason for the return, and clear photographs of the item if the return is related to a defect or damage.
Await Approval
Our team will review your request and respond with return instructions if approved. Do not ship the item until you have received approval.
Ship the Item
Follow the instructions provided and ship using a trackable, secure courier. Keep your tracking reference until your refund or exchange is confirmed.
Return Procedure
Once your return request is approved, you will receive clear, step-by-step instructions on how to send the item back to us. Returns sent without prior written approval may not be accepted and may be returned to the sender at their own cost.
All returns must be shipped using a secure and trackable shipping method. Hand-delivered or non-trackable returns are not accepted.
Return Shipping
Who covers return shipping depends on the reason for the return:
- Change of mind
- Incorrect size ordered
- Incorrect item ordered by customer
- Item received damaged
- Item received defective
- Incorrect item sent by us
We recommend using a tracked and insured courier. Snag Leather is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.
Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photographs of the item and its packaging.
Once verified by our team, we will arrange a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you. Return shipping for defective or incorrect items is entirely covered by Snag Leather.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return under any circumstances:
- Items marked as final sale at the time of purchase
- Items that have been worn, washed, or altered in any way
- Items returned without original tags, labels, or packaging
- Return requests submitted after the 18-day return window
- Items returned without prior approval from our support team
Exchanges
We accept exchanges for eligible items. To request an exchange, please contact our support team first. Once we receive and inspect the returned item, the replacement will be dispatched promptly.
- Exchange requests must be submitted within the 18-day return window
- The returned item must meet all eligibility criteria listed above
- Exchange-related return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless the original item was defective or incorrect
- We will cover outbound shipping for the replacement item
Refunds
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout. Once we receive and inspect the returned item, refunds are processed within 10 business days.
Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider. In most cases, refunds appear within 3–5 business days after we initiate them, though some institutions may take slightly longer.
No restocking fee is charged on any approved return. Your refund will reflect the full item price paid at checkout, minus any return shipping costs that were the customer's responsibility.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not received your refund after our stated 10-business-day processing period, please take the following steps before contacting us:
- Check your bank account or payment platform (PayPal, Stripe, etc.) for pending credits
- Contact your bank or card provider directly — some institutions take additional processing time
- Allow a further 2–3 business days as processing times can occasionally extend
- If still unresolved, contact our support team with your order number and we will investigate immediately
